Fun Fact: these are all places I was *forced* to go to at the time! Even if the destinations seemed more like family obligations, there were times when I actually enjoyed where I was. Even with the Maryland trip, my family drove to Washington, D.C., and we saw a few historic sites!
I found that these book genres are often the ones that interest me whenever I search for something to read. They originate from the years I spent reading books from elementary through high school, which I elaborate more on the story at Car's Book Reviews, where I used to review fiction books I found at my university's library. I also realize I merged some genres, but that's only because they are sometimes associated with each other.
As for color, that category puts a few colors together in a given scheme. For the first one, the yellow is either gold or more pale, and the red is more similar to the hex #C10A0A. The second one kind of resembles a sunset, while the third one just reminds me of tropical fruit for some reason.
