About My Selections

The Flybourne Archives is a website coded in HTML about a disgruntled fan trying to find information about their favorite band - the alternative rock/pop group Flybourne - after they suddenly disappear while reaching the height of their popularity. I got to revisit a project I did years ago, creating a fake band with merchandise and advertising, and use it as a base for a new project.

Kathy's Quest is an adventure game coded in Snap! Berkeley about an adventurer on a quest to defeat a dragon. There are multiple endings based on who the player talks to and what's in the title character's inventory.

Good Morning is based on Zork, a series of text-based adventure games. This follows the player as they try to escape their apartment complex without making the wrong decisions and dying. Unlike Kathy's Quest, all the endings are possible to achieve typically.

Sister Jam is a rotoscope of my eldest sister jamming to music in the car. Since the original video was filmed on the phone with a lower-quality camera, I had to switch between lossy and lossless file formats depending on which one could give me the more visible frame.

Flash Ad - Butterfinger is a 34-second banner ad about a strange situation involving this candy. This music used is the theme from the American drama series "Knight Rider."

Fiverr Assignment #2 combines a YouTube video, a Bitmoji character from Snapchat, and Adobe Animate to create a presentation to be used for an audio/video production classroom. The video uses Animate's lip-synching features, creating different images for the mouth based on pronouncing a word or sound.

"Girl Meets Girl" tells the story a girl as she experiences a romance with a dramatic turn of events.

"Rowan: The Reserved Recycler" follows a college student as they live their daily life and interact with the world around them. The presentation and photos are displayed in PowerPoint.

Sequencing: Hidden Chips uses six shots for a short film about hiding snacks in my household. Based on a true story.
