In the fall of 2023 and 2024, I was a part of the audio team for the Austin Film Festival. I transported materials between locations and recorded and audio for a live script reading. I also got to be a part of Texas State's "In Conversation With..." series, a Q&A session, on the video team by being behind one of the cameras during the live interview.

In the fall of 2022, I joined my school's newspaper organization, The University Star, focusing on Life & Arts around Texas State and San Marcos. Below are the articles I have put out since then (from the most recent). I am also in the multimedia group as a contributor, with some photos in the newspaper's Star Snaps.

Since the fall of 2021, I joined a local church as a Production Assistant, where I monitored sound levels during the band's weekly live performances. The experience taught me about sound sounds for different instruments and voices, the most important or loudest channels to hear and to actively listen for any changes in how the audience may perceive the performance. I learned while shadowing the current sound person and filling in on days when no one else could do it. However, that changed the spring of 2023, when I enrolled in a program to teach me to do that job better with some training on the soundboard.

In the summers of 2022 and 2023, I worked at DD's Discounts. I was a cashier for the most part, but sometimes I would work the dressing room as security for the back of the store. Over the next few months, I learned about being attentive and considerate and working in a fast-paced environment. I would even see my customer checkout times decrease, meaning I was getting faster at my job.
